INSPIRATION STORY OF DESIGN

The design and production process for this shirt took almost a year to get it right but even then as a perfectionist, I still feel like this shirt can be improved tenfolds with the GSM used, styled collar-cut, overall shirt cut, and multi-functionality. What this really taught me is sometimes each piece of art that is created should not have to meet all of my expectations because sometimes these expectations I set are extremely high not only for my standards but also on myself. Learning that it's a process and journey meant to be shared and refined over time allows room for organic growth to enjoy what it's like to engulf oneself in the passions of art. The journey has been beautiful and honestly sometimes it's not always pretty but that's where the creation process makes it all worthwhile especially when I look at the growth rather than the end result. Independently funding, selling, and making shoes, slides, hats, shirts, denim, etc. flew over my head 'cause of how focused I've been but when I took a moment to take inventory, it definitely is so surreal to even think about it all.
