I want to start off by saying thank you to everyone that have crossed paths with me as I make my way towards building an independent clothing brand. Whether it was doubt, support, or any other encounters we had, it all had an impact on building my persistency and resilency to pursue the dreams when my internal thoughts said otherwise. The imposter syndrome I dealt and still deal with slowly washes out as I keep pushing to do me.

As I launch this brand, I want to consciously make the opening for close friends and family to then extend it to the broader community because limited stock is available for the moment being. With limited capacity in resources and time, I still want to make this brand work and will keep building on it. Do not worry if products do sell out, I will do my best to restock and create a pre-order option to ensure everyone can be part of this community and journey.

Lastly, I started this brand with the desire of not only creating clothing but finding avenues to engage with community. A blog series will be one way to share my thoughts, feelings, and updates for us connect. Social media can also be a place to connect but I understand the surveillance issues tied to various social media platforms. This complexity has shifted how I move virtually and I understand the limitations in my technological skills but I hope to explore different ways in creating a space for the broader community to share their inputs on this platform.
