MISSION

We as community aim to grow collectively with our supporters towards the broader mission of self-growth, autonomous ownership, and cyclical inspiration. Whatever organic course this artistic work leads, we hope our journey becomes a blueprint for others to mold with their own unique characteristics.

Daniel Luu: I embarked on this journey of clothing artistry after years of contemplating on how to go about building one from the ground up -- turning mud to gold. The lingering desire to start were rooted in fear -- a neglected dream from high school through college until now. What changed to help me take my leap of faith into the discoveries of the unknown was the breaking point of losing oneself before even finding oneself. Living my parent's dream of academic success felt moreso a failure at my master's degree graduation as I realized the truth of comfort is not freedom -- living reality by walking in another's imagination. I then chose to be the architect and alchemist within this one life -- becoming a producer rather than consumer was my first intake of the red pill to see the most beautiful color is love.

Therefore, I drew from the abundance of knowledge I soaked when marinated in the contradicting duality of street violence and underground streetwear. Through this introspective entrepreneurial journey of self-growth, I have come to trust the process and embrace it even when standing before the face of harsh lessons to swallow -- building the confidence on discipline than talent. The mixture of mind wealth that I've gained from my privileges and encounters with the system pushes me to rethink clothing in ways that reflect my core values — designing clothing to tell a story "bigger than life." A story that reflects the visions of using clothing artistry as a medium to community ownership and a platform to poetically inspire all, especially those who resonate with concept of "the rose that grew from concrete."

This is only the beginning of my journey but humble beginnings have always taught me to practice gratitude as a pathway to happiness -- a full embrace of the process rather than the results because the masterpiece of any artist is life. As I write every new chapters, I hope you can join me in developing a community that embodies the value in the poet trademarked motto: "dreams don't sleep" because it takes a village to move mountains -- leading to the domino effect of multiplied inspiration. "I came as one but stand among thousands."
